I’m thrilled to share the stage with jazz piano heavyweights Kenny Barron and Benny Green, and guitarist Russel Malone for a special concert dedicated to the piano music of the great Nat King Cole. Better known to the public as a vocalist, Cole was a brilliant and often overlooked jazz pianist, with a nimble touch and buoyant sense of swing. The CJOs Jeff Lindberg has transcribed several charts from Cole’s recordings with various big bands for this concert, and there will be lots of piano trio music as well. Not to be missed!
